Overall Relevance Of Bhagavad Gita Samples †MyAssignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about the Overall Relevance Of Bhagavad Gita. Answer: Introduction The report will discuss in detail about the overall relevance of Bhagavad Gita in todays life and how it has impacted my life. The holy book of Hindus can be termed as the Divine Song of the Lord Krishna. It is a conversation between Prince Arjuna and Lord Krishna which consist of seven hundred shlokas which are Indian form of epic verse across eighteen chapters. These chapters are part of epic book of India Mahabharata (Muniapan, 2014). It is also believed that these verses came directly from the lips of Lord Krishna during the wartime when he had come forward to advice Arjuna. Impact of Baghavad Gita in my daily daily life The main discussion between Arjuna and Krishna started when Arjuna had cold feet while fighting with the family and he started becoming morose because he was losing the family and forced to be on war to kill his own family. He was unsteady and was unable to form compose while being on the war (Hawley, 2011). What I understood from the book that it is important to understand here that the war or battlefield is symbolises life of people. Many of the people are full of varied kind of fears as well as misgiving associated with the meeting of the issues that life is able to throw on people. There are also many times when people become swamp and want to just go away since they do not want to face the situation and requires answers for it. The book is a set of instructions associated with how I as a human being can take the philosophy in my life. One of the most popular verse from the book is the people has all the power to act in their full capacity but they do not have any control on the results, which made me realise that I should work without any kind of expectation from the results (Villate, 2015). The important question here is that, doesnt this philosophy completely make people take a 360 degree turn in the approach towards leading the life. I like any other human being lives in the expectation of outcomes and the overall mantra for success is this. When I am unhappy with the results, I usually switch off from the life and slip into the mood of inertia. However, the book made me realise that the philosophy helps in bringing quality and excellence in lives of the people and it also adds zeal to deal with any kind of situation. It is just important to do their part with all the dedication and also bring some fresh approaches and also think completely out of the box (Antony, 2014). This also helped me in deriving with high level of satisfaction from within. Also, the important thing here to understand is that doesnt it make the outcome sweeter when one is not expecting it. The main emphasis of Bhagavad Gita is selfless service which becomes the main source of inspiration for the many inspirational leaders like Gandhi etc. In fact, Gandhi once mentioned this book and said at the time of self or any other kind of doubts or disappointment one must turn to Bhagavad Gita for help since it will provide a verse which can answer all the doubts and comfort people. I now completely follow this path. His philosophy was that people who meditate with Gita will be able to come up with a new ray of joy with unique and positive meaning from it each day (Kapila and Devji, 2013). On the other hand, Sri Aurobindo has mentioned that Bhagavad Gita is actually a true kind of script to understand human race in the form of living creation instead of book with new and unique message for every stage of life and new understanding for every kind of civilization. Another leader namely Henry David Thoreau said one must start their day with this holy book in comparison of other modern world literature which seems to be trivial and puny by nature. For me, this book is also a kind of revelation of wisdoms associated with life which helps the philosophy to grow into pure form of religion (Kemmerer, 2015). The book is considered as one of the purest form of philosophy existing in any language since it carries the deepest thing the world can see. Many emperors and fighters took reference from the book which taught them that it is important to be right morally and one should never hesitate for a second to take action against any kind of injustice (Suriyaprakash, 2016). In fact, a leader like Lord Warren Hastings who was the first governor general of British India also mentioned that he never hesitates to not mention Gita as a performance of great form of originality with sublime concepts which also reasoned and diction further or completely unequalled with any kind of exception among any known form of mankind in the form of religion (Srinivasan, 2012). Conclusion For me it was also important to understand the overall uniqueness about this book is that the elucidation of eighteen different chapters are discussed in the book are much more than mere form of philosophy which one cannot easily gain clarity on and understand. On the contrary, these kinds of teaching are also very scientific by nature with goals and work for all the people who care to apply the same in their respective lives (Posner, 2017). I also understood that Lord Krishna never tried to pass any kind of judgement on anyone nor does he mention any kind of moral conduct as right or wrong. References Antony, M.G., 2014.
